Oath Ceremony under the Mission LIFE.

On the 20th May 2023, an Oath Ceremony was organized by the Government Degree College (GDC) Ajas in collaboration with the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Bandipora and Positive Moves Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Under the MISSION LIFE to promote environmental awareness among the students, staff, PRI’s and employees of other departments under the banner of G20.The participants took an oath to protect the environment, to take steps towards sustainable development, and to work towards building a cleaner and greener society. The oath was administered by the Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Mir Resource Person from Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Bandipora, and all participants solemnly pledged to abide by it.The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the Mr. Mehraj Din Dar Nodal Officer MISSION LIFE, who expressed his gratitude to all those who had participated in the ceremony and reiterated the importance of working together towards a common goal of creating a healthy and sustainable environment.Overall, the Oath Ceremony held by GDC Ajas in collaboration with the Assistant Commissioner Panchayat Bandipora under the MISSION LIFE for environment students, staff, PRI, and employees of other departments was a great success, and it served as a reminder to all those present of the importance of preserving the environment for a better future..

GDC AJAS ORGANISED NATURE WALK IN COLLABORATION WITH FOREST DIVISION BANDIPORA.

On 3rd June 2023, NSS Unit of Govt. Degree College Ajas in collaboration with Forest Division Bandipora organized a nature walk for students and faculty members. The walk was conducted in the Chittenar Forest, which is located in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. The objective of the walk was to promote awareness about the importance of nature conservation and to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the different flora and fauna of the region. The participants walked through the forest, admiring the trees, flowers, and animals. They also learned about the importance of trees and how they help to protect the environment. The nature walk was a great success. The participants enjoyed learning about nature and spending time in the forest. They also expressed their commitment to protecting the environment. The nature walk was a great opportunity for students to learn about nature and its importance. It is hoped that the walk will inspire them to take action to protect the environment.
